Food Culture | Experiential Ethnography | Immersive Food Experiences | Brand Consultation
Storytelling and narrative art have been the true constant in my life over the past decade. I follow my curiosity into the wild, drawn to remote cultures, forgotten flavors, rich ecosystems, and the invisible threads that connect us all.
I blend art, storytelling, and community wisdom to explore food cultures through a deeply holistic lens. Grounded in history, identity politics, and collective memory, my work is shaped by close collaboration with local communities.

My practice seeks to bridge the space between the ‘Self’ and the ‘Other,’ fostering understanding across identities. Through layered narratives, I explore memory, desire, vulnerability, and identity, sparking bold conversations between the past and the present.
Through experiential ethnography and grounded field research, I gather insights with a creative lens to develop unconventional, story-led strategies rooted in place, people, and practice.
My book zJim: Stories from a Kargili Kitchen is to be released in December 25.

Along the way, I've donned many hats — leading travel expeditions, managing a restaurant rooted in local cuisine, curating immersive food experiences for curious travellers, and chronicling the deep wisdom embedded in local food cultures.
